Oh I souldve known sooner... I just sold my youth set up.

I got mine breand new for about 400 for everything.  Sights, rest, sling, and case.  And I sold it for 50 bucks.

It was an alpine micro and it worked for me very well

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.

Is it hunting season yet?

HolyMoly you missed out there Glenn!!
It depends what grade archery set up yah want.Shouldnt be more than the kids ability.Do you really need a compound? I know thats whats probably KOOL,But for beginers a recurve in 25-30 lb pull is a excellent startup.Learn with that set up and progress up.Especially for kids who will out grow any bow they get in the compound class. Is it for the backyard? or a club type setting?
They do make compounds cheap for kids.but again you get what you pay for! Recurve!!
 look here for guesstimates http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_kw=Youth&_kw=archery&_kw=set
Go to Craigslist type in youth bow,There are many there.
What yah wanna spend? How tall is she? what she weigh? things to think of.
