Well I have now experienced my first visit to Target Field last nite. What a beautiful stadium it is and players should be thankfull to be able to show off there talents on such a site.

HOWEVER IT DOES HAVE A FEW DOWNFALLS, WHICH I GOT TO EXPERIENCE.

#1 Food and beverage prices are ass nine. 7.00 for a tap beer. I think 6.00 for Noreaster. Walleye on a stick and who knows who supplied that??????  11.00
Burger and fries 11.50. A hot dog for 5.50 cmon get real. If you go there to watch a game DO NOT COME HUNGRY unless you have lots of money to spend.

Now the number 1 bitch I have is SECTION 139. If you want to watch a baseball game, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT get tickets for that area. We weere in section 139 row 13 and I lasted 1 inning, yes 1 inning and it would have been less than that, but they advise not to get up during an inning.
Anyway you cant see but 6 fielders and anything that happens in the outfield you have not a clue until you look at the replay on the big board. How can the Twins sell these seats is beyond me. WHAT A JOKE and they should be embarrased.
So if you go DO NOT GET TICKETS WITH SECTION 139. Thank God they were free or I would have gotten thrown out, I was so pissed off. Otherwise 24.00

OH yea thanks again DELTA for screwing us again.

Hey Gary...did you at least get a good nite kiss???  Delta treats you like family right?  We went and had good seats, I think it was section 104, but we had to pay dearly.   The brat wasn't that bad for $7.50, but I knew going in it would cost for food.  I couldn't believe the lines for food though, so somebody must have lots of money to spend.

No way Bert was going to circle me, he never saw me. I wondered around for 7 innings and left after 7. I did find a railing that was somewhat open so, I could actually see the field. My brother called me and I had to ask him the score, cause I didn't know. Thank God the EYE candy was out in full force. wav thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

Ya I got a kiss alright. I actually took the ticket back to the ticket booth, and asked them to take this ticket and shove...............................

I can't argue with that one Big Guy. I can't believe I just said that BangHead BangHead

Tom I swear I was at a meat market. I was walking with 2 of someones finest and they were doing the same thing I was doing and 1 really stood out and all 3 heads turned at the same time and we all shook our heads, and then laughed.
Tom your right they must have all the money, and a 5 dollar bill will get you nowhere.
10's 20's and 50's is what you need, and they spent it right and left.

If you ever watch a game on TV and you see empty seats around I now know where they are. All they do is walk around the stadium, which is what I did for 6 innings.
Of course by the 7th inning, Minnesota's finest drunks are now out being stupid. They had Delta employees, you know the ones that STILL have jobs were doing the 7th inning song "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and some idiotic drunk thought it would be cool to try and break it up. Well he got a horse collar from the director, I hope b-4 he got on TV, and he was laughing and getting high 5's from his drunk buddys. Don't worry buddy, you really were an ASS. Congrats.

Also I wonder if the announcer who thanked Delta for being the airlines of the Twins, just how many JOBS minnesotans lost because of Delta and company RA

Sorry to hear the unions arent paying ya enough to afford the $5.50 hotdogs...LOL.

I went to my first game a few weeks ago, directly behind home plate and had a blast. What an awesome stadium (besides section 139 I guess)

I had peanuts, an iced tea, a large pop, a cheeseburger and fries and a pork chop on a stick, and it cost me dearly, but everyone has to splurge once in a while...Have you been to the state fair lately? Same thing. But I sure do miss the dome dogs, Guess I will have to endure a vikes game this year.

Sunkinboat, holy cow I guess you went all out. That set ya back a bit I bet. Sounds like you had good seats though, which would make a huge difference for sure.

The idea of bringing in your on food. I don't think that would set well with me. Just eat alot b-4 you get there. I asked to stop of BK or the supper club on the way done, but they would not stop.

I think most go for the experience. It is pricey but you can either eat first or pay the piper. All that dang stadium food is over priced. But there is something about getting food there that is part of the experience.

Jimmy John's is on the walk in from the parking garage and we stop there frequently. the best was when we fried up some fish and brought that with to the game.

oh yea the fish would have been good thing to have, since Walleye on a stick from somewhere was 11.00. I like the Jimmy Johns thing also. Good ideas for next time.
1st priority is better seats to enjoy the food.
