Love the Twins, or hate them. A legend left us tonight. John Gordon issued his final sign off as a Twin's radio announcer and he will be missed. Thank you John Gordon. I grew up listening to your voice, through good times and bad, you will always mean Twins Baseball to me.

Twins announcer John Gordan has retired.  He started to fade a little towards the end, but at 71, he is due his retirement.  A good announcer, and if you have ever listened to others announce games, he was a lot better then most.  What most of us will miss, is his signature call for a Twins homerun...Hey, touch 'em all...Kirby, Herby, Jim Thome, Michael Cuddyer....I'll miss him.

I loved listening to John Gordon call games in the spring. It meant the warmer weather was really on its way. And in the fall, when we would make it to the playoffs, it was something good to listen to in the tractors.

I'll miss the excitement in his voice when a player makes a great catch, but most of all the "touch 'em all" call.
