CO Jeff Halverson (Staples) worked the Memorial Day holiday weekend and encountered many people out enjoying the outdoors. Officer Halverson encountered one 10 foot, non-motorized fishing boat on the Crow Wing River. The watercraft had no registration and the three occupants had no PFDs and were using spade shovels for oars (they were up a creek without a paddle).

Buhahaha rub a dub dub three men in a tub laughing4

But seriously I've seen a dozen boats this year without Current registration, don't people know what that number on the side of your boat means?  Its like car tabs, its not brain surgery.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.

Is it hunting season yet?
