I know its a little late in the season, but lets see what you guys (and gals) are hitting the water in.

Here is my ride.

Boat is a mid-70's sea nymph that has had decking and a casting platform put in by the previous owners.
Motor is a 1958 Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5 horse.  The motor runs like a top after over 50 years

The shape and color of that engine brings back memories. Dad had one of those in 35 hp and called Fastwin (I believe). It was a monster (heavy), hard to start and guzzled fuel. Got us where we wanted to go though... yours looks to be in very nice shape.

Thanks lund...everything is in pretty good shape for how old it is.  The motor can be very tempermental at times and you have to find just the perfect spot on the mixture nob every time you go out to get it running perfect, but it always starts on the second or third pull.

Yeah, later in time Dad bought an 18hp version of that and it was darned nice. About 1/2 the weight of that 35...they must have been cast iron blocks to be so heavy. I'd imagine yours isn't very heavy at all and sounds sweet at an idle. Nice to see some of these still around.

My new one I picked up about a month ago, big step up from my Alumacraft Trophy. New ones a S 135 Skeeter with a 115, not bad for a 19 year old rig. Runs great and catches fish.... Needs a Terrova and some updated electronics but I'm more than happy with it for the price....

Actually have a 16 ft BlueFin w/a 15 Johnson and a 19 1/2 ft Bayliner inboard.  Which one we use depends on what lake we're on, how windy it is and how many people are with.

Thought I'd open this thread again,Heres my 14ft lund decked out in decodot. The side trays that were exposed to the weather, I raised them and put some lids on em for water tight storage,There only about 3&1/2 inches deep. The split seat in the middle I made it battery compartments,One for the bow mount minnkota and the other for lights for the floor, running lights,GPS and sonar off cigarette Lighter sockets.
I bought the boat and trailor for $600 with a rotted floor.Knowing what I wanted for me and Sandy. The motor is a 15 HP evinrude 1988,Works just great on this little boat!
The bottom of the lids will get some boat grade carpeting this winter,Just had to get it in the water and start fishing!! Something I havent done much of this summer.

Thanks Shane now I can post the other one, that will be in the water for the first time in 3 years.Long story behind it about how I get that I, I, I, I got it water ready.
I bought it for the motors,It was striped down to nothing with missing parts,I took the motors, and a kid in the area who got a older fiberglass runabout from me a year before that, wanted it.OK I talked to his Dad,He stated that kid has 2 boats there now and he dont do nothin to them but let em sit! He stated get them out of here (the fiberglass boats) At least we can sell aluminum for scrap. So the kid got rid of them.(Ifound later they were dropped in fields) Illegle!!.Anyway two months later his dad called and said before he scraps it he'd check with me.The kid painted it kinda nice looking but not complete.Dad said if you want it get it outta here come get it !! I did and 3 years later its water ready.
I been wireing it, and most probably have seen these pics before. Sometime this week it will be in the water,I advertised on Craigslist and a fellow from saskatchewan wants it for $4500.00. If anyone knows the cost of refurbishing a boat JEEZE ITS COSTLY!!!!!
 Heres the craigslist link http://stcloud.craigslist.org/boa/2504618872.html

Just today it got the registration sticker applied, by Fri. its gettin wet!

I like the looks of that Starcraft. Its the type of starter/first boat I have been looking for.  It probably flies with a 50hp. Nice rig too bad I am a poor grad student otherwise I might be looking for a place to park it for the winter.
