was looking at recipes for meatloaf and some call for just saltine crackers and another called for seasoned bread crumbs. My question is are seasoned krutons what they are talking about is their some thing else they are referring to as bread crumbs. If so, where in the grocery store would you find them cause krutons is all i came up with and i don't think they will work unless you beat them with a hammer into small pieces. Any help out their?????? thanks.

Check out the breading on this link....it could be what they are talking about.  I have used it and I think several others have used it too for meatloaf.

Go in the italian aisle.Look for Bella breadcrumbs or our fav contadina,Both come in Plain or seasoned as italian. The seasoned is great !! Sandy makes our meatloaf I never had the knack! They come in cardboard containers that look like oversized mortonsalt containers.

Sparce is right. Add some bbq sauce or something like that. I also put saltines on top to absorb some grease. Just throw them way and cook it another 5 minutes to make the top crispy.

You can add just about anything to it. Nacho cheese doritos instead of bread crumbs

That's another thing that can be done, is put your favorite chips in a baggy and use a rolling pin to crush them up.

The breading we have makes incredible meatloaf. I've also used Italian breadcrumbs and such. You can usually find breadcrumbs at a dollar store as well.
