It has been going to the doctor and getting xrayed or poked with numerous needles.

Today no xray but got poked twice in the left knee.

First was to removed fluid from my knee and the next was for the pain.

Sucks getting old.

All that salt in those bloody mary's is not good for you.
My nephew cut about 90% of the salt out of his diet and things have improved enough that his doctor took him off some of his heart medicine and he is in his early 40's.
Even if they don't salt the rim, all the salt in the mixture is really high.

Len, Hang in there. You'll be back out on the river soon. Are they thinking any kind of surgery?

Glenn, Hope all goes well tomorrow. Hopefully change of diet will help prevent surgery in your case? I know a few folks now that are gettin up there in age and it seems like you hit the nail on the head there Len. It just plain sucks getting old!!

Good luck to both of you. Medical issues just plain suck. Sadly they are a fact of life. The good thing is we live in an age of very good medial resources. If you aren't getting the answers you want from one, make sure you look around. Always use second opinions.
