After hearing about the Packers performance in Detroit yesterday, I believe their playoff chances are slim to none.  In fact, with New England, NY Giants and Chicago left on the schedule, I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish 8-8 or maybe 9-7 if they are lucky to win one of those.  What a change from the beginning of the season.  Minnesota and Green Bay were supposed to battle for the NFC North.  Now it looks like a very inconsistent Chicago team will the division.

I couldn't agree more with that, I will be surprised if Rodgers plays next week with his 2nd concussion of the season.  They definitly are on a downward spiral almost similar to the Jets in the AFC.

I can't see Rodgers playing this week.  Not the way they are being extra cautious with head injuries this year.  I don't think they could beat New England with him anyway.  That guy has got to learn to take a tackle or he won't be in the league for long.  Some QB's have a tendency to let their head snap to the ground when they are hit and he is one of them.  Compare that to the way Favre takes hits.  How many head injuries has he had in his career?  I am sure he has had some that went unreported, but you don't see his head snap to the ground when he gets hit.  He's all banged up this year because that is what 150 seasons in the NFL does to a person. tongue1

I agree on the play this week, crap, last one it took him or appeared to take him almost 2-3 weeks before he looked normal again.  I think he is a great QB and has the potential to be one of the elite in the league, but the way he takes hits, I don't know if he can with stand the punishment.

The concussion with players in all sports has started to take a toll on many teams,Heck hockey ya never heard of a sidlined played cause of concussion, recently its a big thing.I believe it has to do with the studies of past profootball players and brain injuries.
I watched the GB game and thought Rodgers wont make it near as long as some long playing QBs,He cant take a hit and reflect the blow or go with it.Pretty poor game once Rodgers was out! Again a team centered around a QB with out him their nothing but avg.or below.

If they had a dominating running back, they could get by with Matt Flynn, but I agree, this team without a good passer is done.

Don't like to see a player hurt at all. Still, glad to see the fudge Packers are going downhill!! LOL. If you loose your QB and your whole team turns to crap, well, you have some big off season work to do.

They definitely need to draft a good running back.  Losing Ryan Grant in the pre-season was a big blow.  They haven't found a replacement that provides much of a threat.

The Packers aren't the only team that plays as well as their QB.  The Queens seem to play only as well as their QB plays.  Take the starting QB away from any good team and see how they fare.  There are a few that are balanced enough to win, but not many.

Since the Bears lost too, they are far from done...not going to argue that they have a tough schedule. But again, so do the Bears. The Pack could use a little help from the Vikes tonight in beating the Giants, since they are a front runner in the wild card. IF that happens and the Pack beat them, it looks good for the wild card. There are endless playoff possiblities with 3 weeks left. Matt Flynn is not the answer that is for sure, and it's not completely the RB's fault that our running game is so weak, it has a lot to do with the injury plagued O-line.

I AM a packer fan, and our IR list is longer than some teams A player list. We do need something done with the O line, Rodgers needs to learn to slide, and a quality back Might emerge if our line could make a block.

Were still in the mix for the NFC north...the bears can't even play at their own house with weather they should be up for. Their smoke and mirrors show is falling apart.

A little help from the Vikes, (c'mon, we've helped you in the past) A strong finish to win 2 of last three and I believe Da Bears will finish a game behind us.

At least I'm hoping.

Problem is I have friends and a brother who are die hard Eagles fans and I'm not a "Dog Killer".....I mean Vick fan. If it's possible, I hope no one wins that game.

Haha, that'd be a bold move by the NFL. That's how I feel about the Jets game..

People who murder are inexcusable in my book. I don't care if it's people or animals. You killed many of defenseless dogs for entertainment. He may have paid his dept by sitting in prison but he will NEVER have my respect again. Yea, he's a great QB but he's morally a sack of garbage in my book.

I dont know where Vick is from BUT in the south there are yet lots of dog fighting rings Rooster also.So he may have grown up around it.Right or wrong,If his uncles, father, granddad did it in their small ring, WELL He never learned how inhumane it was and is.He paid for the illegal activites!
