I was amazed the first time I discovered my dog, Barky von Crabass, loved to eat hunk's of raw walleye! After I have cleaned it, Mrs Dirtball, my favorite wife, insist's that I have to cut it up in small piece's for that mangy mutt! She fuss's over that dam dog more than she did over our kid's when they were little! There is an upside to having your dog eating sushi. It's very good for them! Especially helpful in developing a shiny coat! So now I have to go fishing on demand! Oh well. If she insist's, what else can I do? :laughing6:DIRTBALL2 bs

My two dogs eat a lot of fish throughout the year, although one of them really only eats them when they are frozen. I will generally always save a few small gills or perch for them and give them to them as frozen treats.

I know a guy who's dog would go out on the ice and go from house to house looking for fish. He wouldn't eat them he would just steal them!!!

So who's limit does that count against???   My guess would be the dog owner now has to count it as it is in his possession. icon_scratch icon_scratch icon_scratch
I've seen that happen too.  The owner yells at the dog as the fish owner is yelling at the dog's owner. laughing4 laughing4 laughing4

Yes, all three do. Don't like it just in case of the fish bones getting caught in the dogs stomach.

Our doxie will scale the fish fish. Pretty funny to watch. My lab doesn't know what to think about a fish.

My wife's grandpa will take his push mower and run over the fish first. Big mess. Cheap food.

Although I will admit to not being the brightest bulb on the tree, I fillet the fish first before Barky von Crabass get's 'em.DIRTBALL2 bs
