You're psychic Gary..... Usually they give away about a 3-4 lb package of meat. They're going with a regular butcher shop these last few weeks so the meat is fresh and better quality. They were buying it already packaged at the regular grocery store before.

Depends on how many tickets I buy. They have a limit of 2 per person now, so the most I can spend is $10.00 for the drawings (they have 5 drawings) and most packages are the $20-25 range. So... if ya win, you come out ahead, if you lose, you're still out 10 bucks plus the cost of the beer you drank.

Hey it works the same for other people too. I may have 3 beers a year, maybe. Now bring on the Vodka. here is a story from this weekend, and I was NOT involved. 2 guys go fishing on Saturday and they use a smaller boat, easier to get in and out on smaller lakes. Anyway the landing had cement logs spaced apart for gripping power. Anyway the cement logs have shifted and there is a gap between them and not knowing that until after the tire lodged between them and blew out only the bead and goes flat. No spare, but an air compresser within 7 miles, so they go fishing and will worry about the tire later. Why because there was fish to be caught and they only had 1 day. Well they head out each with a minnow bucket and 1 fish basket placed in the middle for easy "live well storage" of the fish they planned on keeping. They got there early and stayed late into the day. They caught about 20 jumbo perch and 6 walleyes that they kept. They even caught a northern that had a metal stringer hook still attached to his mouth, nothing else, just the hook part. Anyway took that off and released her to grow up as it was only 16 inches long. Well they went to pack up and head back to the landing as they had to get that tire filled back up. They lifted the basket and then realized that the basket is pretty light. they forgot or the bottom connection had come loose or wasn't closed all the way, so all the fish except 1 eye got out. So they were putting them in the basket and the fish were going straight through and back into the lake. They were enjoying the evening as best they could and after a couple decided to call me and tell me the story. Oh this story will be remembered and brought up in the future, this winter, next spring and even yesterday as they were coming back. but funny.

I got this in an email this afternoon and figured it couldn't be for me.....Think it was actually for Tom...? Glenn? or Gary?? (I know it couldn't be for Shane either) BREAKING NEWS!! To save the economy in 2009, the Obama government will start deporting all of the weird old people in order to lower Social Security and Medicare costs. I started crying - when I thought of you. RUN, YOU OLD FART, RUN!!!!!
