As far as I know, they are on FM for sure. After that I wouldn't know. Sounds like they are locked to them for a bit.

And your right Big Guy, not from lack of trying.

Thanks, the rumors are flying today. Found out he I guess he has now paid our health insurance as that was set to expire March 1st, however now they can't find the payments. Also we are supposed to be paid today, but we have heard this a few to many times b-4, so not getting our hopes up. Would be nice as I am down 5 paychecks and counting. At least he has assets if he goes that way. Golly this is fun. BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead BangHead

I don't understand how he doesn't pay you for so long. Is he not doing much business or does he have some bad spending practices or what? That just doesn't make sense.

Good luck Gary, when Panelcraft filed for bankrupcy, my son-in-law almost waited at the bank, he would call and there would be money in the account, but by the time he got there 10 min later, it was gone.  He lost $10.000.  And all the assets had previous claims against them.   mumum mumum

Well to make it short, he cannot manage money very well and we found out the hard way. There are so many liens against us, and the money he has gotten(and we don't want to know where that money came from) is being controlled by a 3rd party. Most of our customers have been contacted by the people we owe money to, and have been told NOT to pay. Believe me there is over 200,000.00 out there in limbo. He has and we are just starting to find all of the shady things this clown has done.
Now going forward he is not allowed to quote anything without consulting me first. Since that practice is in effect we have not lost a dime and have done wll in the profit, however it is very few and far between, due to the state we are in.  This is just the tip of the ice berg. There is many other factors that come into play,(all bad) that I really can't say at this present time.
He can sell, and that is a good thing, but we have learned and taken steps so he is not allowed to bid and delay payments no more. But to get to that point there is many bridges still left to cross.
And 2 last comments. There are 3 more in worse shape pay wise than me. I also have worked with this person for the last 15 years, and he had more money put away and lives on a major local lake out west, so no one saw this coming.

We are a 3PL logistics company. We move LTL or full truckloads and distributions of any size. I can get anything anywhere in the 48 states. No International and no Haz Mat.

We also can recover and drop at airlines if needed.

You are correct NOT from the lack of business. We had a great gig going, until the mis managment caught up with him. We tried to tell him different, but he was stubborn and lot of this is being brought on all by himself.
I have been in this business for 22 years and have only moved 3 times. 7 years with the first and 12 with the second, and now 3 here. That is a great number as alot of people in this industry moves 6-10 times in 10-15 years. I pride myself for staying with companies once I get in. I give it my all.  I am sorry to say, but right now I couldn't move a stick of freight across town, unless I did myself and it fits in my pick-up.

Well good news has arrived late today. We were told that all payroll will be caught up on Thursday. Now the question is do we believe it. Time will tell and tomorrow at this time, I may be tipping a few good cheers. Keep your fingers crossed.

Good luck Gary, I really hope that pans out for you with the pay getting caught up.

I'll be honest, I could never stick around at a job that is behind in getting paychecks to me. I would pack up and leave pretty dang quick. I hope it all works out. Maybe you can just take the company over.  icon_thumright

Been there done that! Its hard to leave with money owed. And one never expected it.When it had happened to me I'd be nice and wait for my pay, then leave.Tried the courts but that dont work too many ways to hide $$$ Just a pain in the a++!!

Under a normal economy this would not be an issue. Looking for a job as some of you know is very tough right now, so the choice was pretty clear. Courts would not work as Sparcebag said. To much BS  bs bs bs, and the little guy never wins.

Last year I was in a tough postition with work. I have been with the same camp for 14 years(grew up there actually) and they got taken over by new ownership and one of the owners turned out to be a little shady and we were unsure of our jobs. I also had 3 other offers on the table(more money but no security) but to me working for this particular camp is my life. So I decided to let them know I was in for the long haul, hell or high water, I wasn't going to leave. 3 of the other guides did. I am now #2 guide, got a pay increase and almost doubled up on guiding days. The shady owner is now bought out, business is picking up and with the you great americans working your butts off to get back on track our bookings are looking better than they have in 4 years. I knew staying put wasn't necessarily the safest bet but in my opinion it was my place I wanted to be.

We got it all Glenn haha But we have more than enough trout around. Crow Lake is right across the road from lake of the woods, whitefish bay(part of lake of the woods has trout). In the winter its unlimited for lakes, especially for trout.
