Like I said It tasted like a alluminum can, only worse. Now this was back in the late 70's . It may have improved since then, but I can still taste it.

there was that and kegle brau and plain cold spring beer. nowadays its gluek. and still tastes ick to me, BUT man theres a lot of people who do drink it. i believe they employee a good amount of people to. issue i got is all the town activities are all located here instead of mainstreet like it use to be. takes away fro the hometown gathering each town has during the summer, bu they do donate and do alot for the community.

I didn't know Cold Spring had a city limits. What is it 2 blocks. Meanwhile back in the cities, Side roads and such are slick. 494 was wet only. I did not see anyone checking the ditches out. Only adventure I saw was someone sliding through an intersection. Still coming down in Eagan. funny guy! you can get lost in cold spring you know!!! and sounds like more is yet to come sunday nite. yipee hope roads clear up by tue, as i need to head towards red wing.

well ok, if you insist!!!!!!!! before i even got out of cold spring city limits 2 cars piled up in snow bank each looking in the opposite direction of the lane they occupied. every news cast and radio station said slow down 45 mph is about as fast as they can travel safely, but guess what, yep they just fly right by ya. if i'd see on of those run in the ditch i'd tell'em there #1 and drive right on by!!!!!!!

Roads are pretty greasy but not icy. Just got done doing the driveway and walks with the mighty snow pup and it worked pretty good. I'm pretty glad on that cuz it seems this crap is a little on the heavy side. Nothing in comparison to the Christmas storm

I doubt if there is 1/4" of white on this crap that's on the drive and sidewalks, but I'm thinking I'll just leave it on the off chance we do get some more freezing rain. Its nice to have that little white film in place so when I do have to cjip the crap off it has something to release. I'd sure have liked to wrap a rope around the 85 degrees I left a couple weeks ago and brought those temps home....at least over our house. These long jeans and long sleeves are like hemmeroids....you can't do schnit with them.

Roads here this morning were suckalitious!! Now my daughter called that she missed the buss cause she was looking for her keys. Wife told her to start walking so she hung up on her. I told her I'd go get her but now she won't answer her phone. Headstrong kids man, then the snow to boot!!

The roads here in Mn's SE are cute this morning. Just a light cover of snow on the ice that formed overnight. Starting from a corner where the street hadn't been treated was a two minute affair. Stopping in those streets meant starting to stop as soon as you left the previous corner. Fun times for the early commute I guess.
Our Silver lake had a visitor on Weds evening. A drunk missed a bend in the street, went over the curb and snow bank, flipped his truck on its side and slid 200 feet out onto the lake. He's lucky they are not discharging warm water in the lake this winter and that the ice held. The streets were dry when this dork took the tour, so its probably good he's not on the roads this morning.
We ran some errands last night about 6 and the temp was still at 37 degrees and it was just starting with some frozen rain pellets then but appeared to have stopped by 8:30 with little accummulation. If this stuff hit the Twin Cities there should be a hee-haw time if they haven't treated the hiways. Its 30 right now here in Roch....what'sit like further to the north?
