For a big blow out of a GTG. Pick a location central to all (Millacs??) Everyone bring the ice house, your favorite beverage and a dish of some kind containing fish/game.

Just an Idea......

I'm up for that. Actually have a perm on Mille Lacs out of Red Door. If we all agree on this, I could talk to the resort and see if we can get something "special" going for it.

Sounds like fun. If I get moved back up to Minnesota in time, I'll definitely try to make it!

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.

Is it hunting season yet?

I will be making a few trips up there this year. A GTG sounds like a good time. I smell a team ice fishing contest coming on.  occasion14

Oh yea it is. Especially when you only have one windshield and Wade sits next to you with this look on his face crying all the way in cause of a little . Then you hit a wave and his arse breaks a chair!

Good times man.

Actually the storm wasn't as bad as coming off the lake at night and almost getting nailed by a guy with no lights on!

6 inches of rain that night, and one of my windows on the Blazer was left open. crybaby2

Lets go with some time in January. That sit ok with everyone? I got my wheeler and a flip over....or can drive out if its safe by then. Where should we use as a jump off point? Onamia? Anyone close who can find out if we could get a deal on access from one of the resorts? Seems to me they block off all the public accesses once its ice covered.

January should work. Wade and I have a perm out of the Red Door on the north end. I'll try to give them a call and see if we can't work something out.

Not sure if anyone attends, but the weekend of the 9th is the NPAA meeting in Minneapolis.  I think the weekend of the 23rd would be a good choice.  Hopefully we have good ice before then.

I think it would be better when your able to drive out, otherwise a lot would be restricted.

Anyway I would be interested also. I have most everything, portable , h2o, vex, gps, auger and such.

Well it's getting to the point we should nail down the date/weekend/location.

I am game for going out of anywhere Isle/Onamia area?

Date -- January 23rd work for everyone?

Maybe Shane can put a poll up or do some fancy IT stuff to collect all the data.   I will be looking for info at the ICE show next weekend for resorts and hopefully find some that will cut us a group discount.
