Alright folks, time to get this rolling. We can setup any weekend in February except the 11th - 13th. I put a poll up here to find the best dates that work for folks and then we'll go from there. We'll be going out of Wilderness Warmth once again. Jay and Amber treat us all very good. Had a blast last year with this and hopefully the fish will cooperate more with us this year.

With all the work I missed with my work injury, I have to get a few pennies back in the piggy before I can venture out for a fun weekend. I would be good with a late Feb or early March trip, provided you can put up with an old navy chief from WI who usually out fishes half the attendees at these kinda things. (Burntside bash withstanding).

with work travel the rest of this month and most of February I will be lucky to get to Mille Lacs to chase perch in march...but hopefully everyone can find a weekend and get as many as possible to head up there, Jay & Amber do their best to get you out on fish and the way the weather has been hole hopping during the day is a very feasible option  icon_thumright

Turns out I am double booked for that weekend. Had to push the ski trip to the following weekend due to a training trip for the wilderness guide service I work for.

So we are set for the weekend of the 18th of February at Wilderness Warmth. Amber and Jay have reserved us 3 - 6 hole houses for the event. They are $255 for the weekend and sleep three. Please let us know if you are going to attend.

If you are looking at coming from the cities I'm in need of a couple of folks to split a house with and gas with.

Last year was a lot of fun and I hope this year to be the same and get some more folks there.

Mike & I will be there in one of the 6 holers.. May be bringing a 3rd person with us.  Was a good time last year.  Hope the rain will stay away..

Excellent point BuckKiller. You can also come up for the day if you choose and just bring a portable with you. We do ask that you support Wilderness Warmth by using their roads and paying the fee (it's around $10) if you aren't using a perm of theirs.

I may try to get down there with my camper/ice house. Although I do not relish driving around to the west side of the lake as I will be coming from sandstone area (East side)

That's probably only an extra 20-25 minutes from there Wade. Jay and Amber treat us so good, that's why we go out of there. See if you can make it, would be great to get a chance to fish with you.
