I love GTG but sorry to say I can't be there. I will be in Ely out of Smitty's on Snow bank fishing for trout and walleyes.

Hey folks,
Here's the dilemma, we don't have many folks signed up for this. I'm pretty OK with that. However, I've had some personal issues come up over the last week that is going to make it next to impossible to make it up. I think that will just leave Swanni, her husband and Gary. Do you folks still want to head up? Are there others that want to go? Please let me know so I can get a hold of Jay & Amber ASAP.
Thanks

If we did it the first weekend in March for Perch, I'd be game. With work issues and 2 weekends for my brothers wedding stuff I am now limited until mid March. The first weekend of March I may head up regardless just to get away and have some fun.

I'm willing to listen to you folks and see what works. The thing with me is there are cutbacks happening at home. I don't want to get into details but I believe most know the situation.

I am going out of town some where that first weekend in March. Whether its chasing Tullis and perch or skiing at Lutsen I am off to somewhere.
If I head up to the pond, we can get 4 in my truck up there. We can find shacks for 4. If I am driving up there Shane, your more then welcome to tag along without pitching in for gas.

Not sure I can make it at all. Our economy is doing so well that I better save my money in case we end up sliding even further into the abyss come 2012.

Sure, now that I dug out the grill this weekend. Didn't think I would find it under all the snow. I am still planning on Saturday just for the day. May or may not have room in my truck. To early for my kid to make that decision. I have been up the last 2 Saturdays and have caught some nice fish.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.
Is it hunting season yet?
