I heard 10" of ice from another site but you all heard of doubting Thomas. I did not see much on the roll call forum that's why I was asking. I won't be driving on and I have mobility problems I will have to play by ear.I will be most happy to bring some chips for the event if I make it. We had our Family Xmas party on new years day, and my Grandson came over a sat by me and said Grandpa I can't wait for you to take me fishing. Hope to bring him on sat even if I have to craw out on the ice.

I'll take crappies or decent sunnies. I'll likely put out a tip-up or two so we have a chance at a larger fish. I'll have a truck full of people so I am sure someone in my truck will cover bait.

I've had some texts and PM's that people are confused about this. This is a get together or anyone who wants to come and fish as a group. I will have some giveaways with me. This is this Saturday the 7th on White Bear Lake at noon. Maybe Ude Lake Tom can post directions and where to go out of.

Bellaire is on the south side of White Bear Lake.  You can take 694 to either Hwy 61 or Hwy 120 or White Bear Ave.  Depending which side of the Twin Cities you are coming from.  From the east, go north on Hwy 120 to County Rd E.  Take a left on County Rd E and follow to Bellaire Ave.  Bellaire runs right up to the lake.
From the west, go north on Hwy 61 to County Rd E.  Take a right to Bellaire, take a left and follow Bellaire Ave to the lake.
There are other ways, but way to complicated.
I don't know the best route from the north.
The best bet is usually straight out from the landing.  I don't know how we'll recognize each other, but I know Shane and Oldfisher.  I think I remember Wyatt.

While up at Thorne last night I talked to Matt Johnson. He tells me the Crappies are going pretty good on White Bear.

I also asked Katie what she recommended I pick up to give kids that show up. She gave me a bag of stuff for giveaways. Make sure you bring your kids and grandkids. I have hats and discount Thorne coupons for adults as well.

Thorne Bros has been a long time friend of UMO and continue to be a huge backer for us. They are the best in the business so make sure to support then if you have the chance.

I will also have the LX7 out on the lake for all to check out. If you want to fish with it, that's what it's out for. Everyone who wants to fish with it for a bit will be able to do so and can play with the settings.

You won't have to walk out as long as my wheeler's running but I'll test that in the morning. I'm taking my pop up but if it's nice out I'm fishing outside. Portys are fine to bring.

Wade, I wanna try to get there around noon. Are you taking your wheeler?

yup I will have my wheeler and hooking up my trailer and putting my house in that.  Shouldn't need it with the forecast.

Trying for noon but might be early afternoon before I make it out there.
