If anyone wants to carpool up, I will likely have an open seat. Not sure if I'll be spending the night up there or just driving up for the day.

Undecided? Whatchu talkin' 'bout willis?

Swanni, you could go up the night before and get a cheap room there.

I may have a couple of seats open going from the cities. We'll get a roll call before we head. I may be interested in getting a house with a couple of folks if anyone is willing.

Shane- I might be game for sharing a house with you and other folks. I just need to see because I might be renting a sleeper on Mille Lacs with my cousins as well. Doubt I could afford 2 weekends.

I will for sure come up for the day at least.

I can't get to their site either to see prices. When I google them it just brings up a bunch of (excuse my French) FM posts.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.

Is it hunting season yet?

I spoke with Amber at Wilderness Warmth tonight and they are excited to have us come up. Depending on how many folks we can get we may be able to wrangle up a deal with them.

Their 8 hole house sleeps four and their 6 hole house sleeps 3. Right now for that weekend they only have one 8 hole and two 6 hole houses open so we should act fast. I would be up for going in on a house with anyone for Friday night into Saturday. Maybe get a six PM to six PM type thing and come home Saturday Night. Feel free to stay till Sunday if anyone wants to though. I think it would be a great time and get to meet a great bunch of folks.

Talk to who you need to to see if you can make it up and plot a place to stay. If you only want to come up Saturday but want to fish out of a house I'm sure we an work something out with those that want to stay over on Friday and just split the costs or something. They also have 12 hour rentals. Amber said they don't normally do it but for us they would let us do a 12 hour from Friday 6 PM to Saturday at 6 AM. I would just rather do the full day myself. Probably bring a porty to hop around a bit if the fish aren't biting but nice to have a warm house to come back to.

For some reason this year I really find myself in the mood to move constantly till I find what I'm looking for. I will have the trap Yukon and keep it moving till I find fish.

It sounds like the second seat in the Yukon will be open.
