Just wondering how you guys rig your plastic tails on your jigs? I have seen them straight horizontal and out to the side like an L. Which do you think works better or which way do you use?

Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except poison ivy and sunburn, you're still better off than the worm.

The different ways of rigging plastics are totally dependent on the mood of the fish. I generally always start with a horizontal presentation, but there are many times when a vertical presentation works well for finicky bluegills. The "L" shape you talked aboot is called a vertizontal presentation. I use it when I am fishing pressured fish and want to show them something different.
