Well my streak for trying to fish Mille Lacs continued.  Two years ago in the middle of a drought, we got stormed out with 4 1/2 inches of rain.  Last night we got stormed out due to another storm.  Left the Cities and the thermometer on the car said 109, when we left Flagship, the thermometer read 65.
And then there was the GTG two years ago that I chickened out of due to the freezing rain.
Something tells me I shouldn't be fishing that lake. dontknow dontknow dontknow icon_scratch icon_scratch icon_scratch

I've been really lucky on my few trips up there the last few years. I've had fairly decent weather. The only weather issues have been extreme cold on winter trips. That's not a big deal since I usually use the house and heater when I hope.

I've been up there and have taken a beating with the weather at times. Other times it's been very good. The only time I didn't pull a fish out of it was ice fishing at the GTG. Maybe we'll have to make a run up there Tom.

Sorry to here of your Bad luck Tom. I seem to have the same luck with Leech. I have made several trips up there only to turn around and come back home due to weather or rough water. Better luck next time!
