At millacs at the moment and this is my report.

We are in 2 mile sitting on 18.5 inches of ice.  We have 8 perch in the bucket and one 11 inch walleye.

Rrleased 2 22 and 26 inch, lost 5 other ones.

Got my first ever eelpout

And got pictures of the zebra muscles.  First time I have seen them on camera

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.

Is it hunting season yet?

Yup we are on 18.5 inches, I'm sure there's more and less depending on where you go.  According to pauls daughter from appeldoorns 4 mile was still open a few days ago but its froze now

Weekend ended with me and dad bringing home 20 perch between 9 and 12 inches and four walleyes 11 12 15 & 16.5 inches

Had four other walleyes 2 were too small and 2 were too big, see above pictures.

Missed around 12 bites throughout both nights so we should've had more walleyes, fish were bitting light for the most part.
