Bet you guys/gals never saw this before!!!

In August, I was fishing Lake X with a well-known friend (Ole Matty)... when a muskie struck the pink/pink cowgirl without getting hooked... and I was left with this...

First, two pictures of how a normal #10 .025 blade should look like...

Now... heres how one of the two blades looked like after that muskie was done with it... it rendered the DCG useless... I had to rebuild the lure with a new blade as I didnt have a backup Pink/Pink... I now can say that I will not venture out without 2 or 3 Pink/Pink DCG anymore!!!

The muskie struck the blade hard enough to leave pinpoint dimples and bend the blade in half... Enjoy!!!   Sure as heck is so addicting... you just never know what will happen!!!

Seen??? Well.. Matty and I never SAW the fish at all... All I know was that I was reeling in the DCG and BAM the rod doubled over... mind you, it was a Pro Edge custom build using an Edge blank (XH)... I didnt notice it til after I casted out again and the lure wouldnt work properly... no resistance at all, like it was hung up on weed or the leader wrapped around the blade...  got it back to the boat and checked... aha...    We did go back to that spot about 30 minutes later, this time I was casting Blue/Silver DCG... and at the same spot, it got nailed too... this time, the fish bent the shaft...  Excitement of muskie fishing for sure!!!

Those are incredible fish Rebel and can do some damage for sure.

On another note, how is Ole Matty, haven't talked to him in about a year. Bring him on over to UMO!!

I have a couple double 10's with teeth marks stamped in them, you should see what one does to a brand new Mag Dawg, they destroy them. Thats what keeps me chasing them.
