A while back somebody asked about home made lures.  Back when I was a lot younger, I dabbled in making several.  Lost some over the years, but I found these 2 hiding in an unused tackle box.
And yes, they caught a few fish.



Kinda dirty and rusty now from sitting around all these years.  Probably 45 or more.

That's the old school stuff there! I'm sure there is nothing more rewarding than building your own lures then actually catching fish on them!!! Very cool Tom!
Those two lures look like something I would love to have in my tackle box.

I used to get catalogs at the tackle stores, find some wood and start whittling away.  That and some model paint.
