Buckkiller --- what is the ice/slush conditions out there have you heard?
ice is anywhere from 4 to 14 inches but the 14 inches is where water came up and froze so there is alot of snow mixed in making weak ice. alot of the slush froze up but water is still coming up threw holes and cracks. it was a mess last weekend. it is very un even ice throught the lake. the bay is mostly 6-8 inches of good ice. loos- pm sent

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important but because so many other concerns of man are equally unimportant and not nearly as much fun.
Is it hunting season yet?

It was a busy summer and fall for me but work has slowed down now and ice fishing is the game. Been having a good year so far, with pike and walleye been my focus . Got my house end of Dec but it took 5 moves to finally dial it in. The effort has been well it. The pike are averaging 25"-30" and the walleyes are hit and miss but when there on there on. Season best so far is a 33" pike and a 25" walleye. As of right now I'm sitting in 12' of water on the edge of a rock pile with nice green weeds scattered around. I can't remember the lakes name but if you PM me about this weekend I'll give you the details

If anyone is free tomorrow during the day, I am most likely going to head out to spring lake or prior tomorrow during the day and will most likely have an open seat.
PM me if you are interested

Heres my question could you post some of your grandmas recipes? or yours your mothers? Even if you think it doesnt match our taste buds. I would love to have some different recpies we cant find in any books!

I'm heading out Sat Feb 5th probably around 2 pm and would love to have some company. I can also go earlier if I get a message. We can fish your lake or we can try to find fish on Tonka. I know it's late but you can text me at 952 484 0655 or call me sometime tomorrow.

Boat should be going in the water today or tomorrow. Gonna need to get some fishing in ASAP and will likely have open seats more often than not.
Feel free to start showing some interest! I'll likely try to do this on a first-come first-serve basis.
First post here on UMO, but don't let that phase you! I was pretty active on HSO and a few other forums, and I'm pretty sure Shane can vouch for me being a good guy.
I typically fish Lake Minnetonka, as that's where the boat will be all open water season. But if anyone is trying to swap a trip out on Minnetonka for a trip on a river, I would LOVE to. Have never been river fishing, aside from a desperate attempt to shore fish early season a couple years back that failed miserably, and would love to try it out.
Looking forward to it!
