Thorne Brothers is fully stocked with river shiners (2-7 inches), various size creek chubs (3-10 inches) as well as a select number of the ever-poopular leatherback minnows!

They also have crappie, fathead and sucker minnows too!

So if you need your minnow fix stop on in and take advantage of this opportunity!

The funny thing with sticklebacks....we had success with them, probably would have had more success with real crappie minnows, but at the time, nobody knew any better.  The bait store threw them in, and we used them.
Caught many a crappie with them, only after I met my son-in-law did I learn different.

Leeches are nowhere to be found around here.  Season for them is over.  Have accidentally gotten a couple sticklebacks in my bag of minnows and nothing seems to bite them.  They end up getting thrown on shore or on the ice for the crows to eat.  Spinies don't catch any walleye for me.
