January 4 – Kid’s Ice Fishing Clinic (6:30pm Start Time)Host(s): Jack and Grete Baker
Description: Jack and Grete will once again join us but this time to help host the 1st Annual Thorne Bros Kid’s Ice Fishing Clinic! This event is FREE for everyone and every kid in attendance will receive a FREE ice fishing rod and some snacks! Worm races, live-bait education, ice fishing fun… we have a fun night planned! Event will start at 6:30pm and go until about 8pm. Tell your family and friends and let’s get the kids involved in the great sport of ice fishing!!!
January 11 – Find New Hotposts
Host(s): Joel Nelson
Description: Joel is on In-Depth Outdoors and Thorne Bros Pro Staff and will be joining us to share his skills in fish location. Joel works for the U of M and spends most of his time using GPS systems and has a very good understanding on how to relate everything to fish behavior and will tie it all into ice fishing!!
January 18 – Match the Hatch – Ice Fishing Edition

Description: Think “match the hatch” is only for fly fisherman? Think again! Join us for this seminar that will focus on presentations through the ice. Learn about aquatic insects and other natural forage across Minnesota’s lakes and fill your jig boxes accordingly.
January 25 – Backwater Panfish
Host(s): Mike Walerak
Description: Mike is on the HotSpotOutdoors Pro Staff and has a vast knowledge for finding and catching Mississippi River Backwater Panfish. Learn the tactics he uses to triggering these fish into biting on how targeting backwater fish can pay off for both size and numbers! Also bonus Lake Michigan White fish too!
