I've used cardinals and I think I still have some. Nothing wrong with them. I think you will have a great setup there.

I want to see some pics of you using that rod though!! Give your honest opinion of what you think of it as well.

Well I finally got my new reel today. I'm sure I'm going to get some ribbing for this but I got an Abu Garcia Cardinal 102 I put 8 pound test Berkley Vanish line on it. What do you think?? I think this should be a great set up. Thanks again to UMO for this great Limit creek smoothie rod!!

Now I just have to pry some money out of my wife, so I can go out and get an equally good real for this fine rod!!! Anyone got any suggestions as to what kind of real you would put on it??
Thanks again Shane and everyone else at UMO!!

Sorry I took so long getting it sent. Kept forgetting to bring it to work. I shipped it yesterday through Speedy Delivery, very fast service indeed.

The rod is great for walleye action. Easily my favorite rigging rod for eyes. For reels I use the Sierra's. They aren't real spendy, I can find them at Fleet Farm on sale for $25 and they do a great job.

Oh Lord,
There he is.
Feels like a big one.
Please don't let me lose him.
I've never caught one this big before.
I'll try not to horse him.
And if I land him I promise to release him
And make a graphite replica...
If my wife says it okay.
Thank you for the Rapalas.
Amen.

First of all a BIG thanks to UMO! Best site around! and great growth.

Glenn any time just stop by they'll be here! ANYONE who is in my area can get a couple doz. till there gone! Just let me know and you can stop by!
I and Sandy (my betterhalf) pick 12-14 doz every spring before the skeeters come out, around crappie time in April. Its something we do as a competition and for our summer bait.So gettin these wont stop us from our razzin each other! and we'll still get out pickin crawlers.
If Anyone is in the area and gets some crawlers,I always know where something is bitin around here and always share my spots even GPS for those who stop by.

PS Glenn like the new feet, same pirated set! wav wav
Thanks again UMU and Jewel! wave icon_salut

Alright UMO folks, first off the entire staff and owners of UMO would like to thank you for an unbelievable first 10 Months!!! We grew to over 1000 members in our first 10 months of existence, which is outstanding!! We have accomplished more over that time than we anticipated and we look forward in keeping up the growth in 2010. It's you, the members of UMO that make this all possible and fun to do. We aren't in this for personal gain, we are in this to have fun, meet more outdoor people and grow in the world of the outdoors. Everyone who has signed up and contributed is a huge part of that, without you folks, this site would be nothing. We recognize that and thank you by giving away these prizes every month. As the site grows look for more and more giveaways in the future.

Thanks again and now, to the WINNERS!!

2nd Place and the winner of the flat of night crawlers, courtesy of Jewell Outdoors is.................................. Sparcebag!!
