Title: Ice Fishing Challenge Post by: Sandmannd on December 16, 2009, 06:36:24 PM The First Annual UMO Ice Fishing Challenge! To sign up simply reply to this post with your user name and the state/province in which you reside in. Children under the age of 18 please post your age as well as your parent's user name. The Ice Fishing Challenge is for UMO Members Only. (Membership is free so, sign up to win!) Good Luck Everyone! Please be sure to read the Rules UMO Ice Fishing Challenge Rules 1) You must be signed up to be eligible to win. No posting of your fish the same day you sign up. Please sign up before you go fishing. 2) You are allowed to upgrade entries. Once the entry is upgraded the previous entry is not eligible for the Challenge. 3) You must print a copy of the Ice Fishing Challenge Poster, available in this post. Right click, save as and then print it no smaller than 5x7. 4) Two photos will be required per entry. 4a.)Photo 1: The entry fish must be photographed with the entire rule (measuring device) clearly and ledge-ably in the picture as well as the Ice Fishing Challenge Poster while still out on the ice. No part of the fish should be on the measuring device. Please photograph Only the entry fish - No multiple fish in the photo. 4b.)Photo 2: This photo must have the angler and fish together while still out on the ice with the lake or shanty in the background and the anglers face uncovered. All entries must be fresh caught fish. No frozen or gutted fish will be qualified. 5) The photo must be posted within the tournament dates/times. 6) The entry is length and girth in the (Weight is not need but would be helpful in case of a tie) 7)The length is "as the fish lays" - not by squeezing the tail. The entry is measured from the furthest point to the rear (tail) and front (lip). 8)Only post entries that may challenge the leaders board. 9)Only post your entries in the appropriate forum. Walleye are under the Walleye board called UMO IFC Walleye (http://www.uppermidwestoutdoors.com/walleye/umo-ifc-walleye/); Pike are under the Northern Pike board called UMO IFC Pike (http://www.uppermidwestoutdoors.com/northern-pike/umo-ifc-pike/); and Crappie, Sunfish & Perch are under the Panfish Board called UMO IFC Crappies, Perch and Sunnies (http://www.uppermidwestoutdoors.com/panfish/umo-ifc-crappies-perch-and-sunnies/). All entries must remain posted for the duration of the Ice Fishing Challenge In the event of a tie the first fish entered will be awarded. Decisions/Results will be posted in the Ice Fishing Challenge board by The Admin Team of Upper Midwest Outdoors. 1. Eligibility: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Upper Midwest Outdoors in the format designated below. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited. 2. Disclaimer: Upper Midwest Outdoors, all participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisers, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, miss-routed, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Ice Fishing Challenge disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Upper Midwest Outdoors; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Ice Fishing Challenge. 3. Ice Fishing Challenge Period: The Ice Fishing Challenge period is from December 15th, 2009 to March 15th, 2010, 11 PM Central Standard Time (This is the "Deadline" for pictures to be posted). All entries must be posted by the Deadline to be eligible to win a prize. 4. Prizes: Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within 30 days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes won by a minor (as determined by the laws of state or province of residence) will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian on the minor's behalf. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) 5. Upper Midwest Outdoors Ownership of Entries: All participants retain full rights to Entered Photos. Permission is hereby granted to Upper Midwest Outdoors to use, copy, modify and/or distribute said entries. Entries will be available to download freely by the public. A non-exclusive royalty-free right is granted to Upper Midwest Outdoors to use photos in future logos and promotions of the future tourneys. 6. Original Work of Authorship: You hereby warrant and represent that (a) you own all rights to all Photos submitted by you; and (b) all such Photos are original works of authorship on your part and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work and do not violate, misappropriate or infringe any copyright, trademark or other proprietary right of any other person or entity. 7.
