Thank you to Ude Lake Tom for getting me the list of Members for August. Tom had it to me on time but I was swamped.

Here are the lists of members who qualified for the Aug Drawing. Seeing some folks with a big number of posts, much appreciated. Minimum 10 posts for New Members and 20 posts for Current Members. Didn't have any new members with posts this month!

Folks I have a small problem. With the economy how it is we just don't have the budget for the Shirts and Hats. We do have some great gift cards for Gander Mt. How would you all feel if we gave you a $10 off coupon at Gander? For those not near a gander you can use them online as well? I also have some other coupons available for another store that will go with them.

 I dont come here for the drawings.No gifts>>I could care less...No other site gives away free shirts, Decals yes but shirts and caps together??? That could get costly!! I always wondered where that $$$ came from?? My guess is out of your pocket RIGHT Shane.

Yes, it's all out of pocket right now. As we gain sponsors and such some money comes in but goes to other costs of running the site as well.

If its out of pocket for you Shane I don't think anyone would have a problem with what ever you decide. You shouldn't have to pay ANYTHING out of your own pocket to pay for prizes on monthly drawings. I have never seen a site give out as generously as you have on this site. I think if you decide to keep up the monthly drawing, What ever it is you feel you can give is more then enough. I just want to say thankyou for giving as much as you have!! icon_thumleft

In some ways, I think it was a great idea to get the site established.  Now most of the people just want to share information.
They were great gifts, but maybe you need to scale down some.  Whatever you decide is ok with me.

Im sure everyone understands. I know of another site that holds contests and announce the winners and their prizes and when it comes to collecting them-they never see them. You"ve always came through on your site with the monthly prizes and Im sure we are all frequenting this site for great posts from the Staff and members-great info-and a few chuckles and not just for the drawings. As the site grows as well as sponsors I know that the drawings will just be a bonus in a well put together outdoor forum. Keep up the great job.. hello2 headbang

Though I agree it's not a necessity, it's something nice that we have offered that I haven't seen others offer. We'll continue it on some way and hopefully when action pics up we'll go back to bigger prizes again.
