First thing to do is setup an account at a photo sharing site. I use www.photobucket.com for this but any will work.

Once you are signed up you need to upload your pictures to that site.

Once the pics are on your site go and find the "direct link" of your picture. (This is what it looks like with photobucket.

Now click on the "direct link" to highlight the whole path of it. Copy that link and go into your post.

In your post click on the "insert image" button.

You will get the brackets to put the copied link to as below

Paste it between the brackets as shown below (the curser defaults to be in between them)

Now click on the "Preview" button if you choose to preview and make sure your pic looks right. (Remember you can resize them so they fit on the photo sharing sites.)

You will then see your preview at the top of your post.

If you need to make some changes, do so. Then you just have to click on "Post"

And that's all there is to putting your pics up on UMO to share with everyone. Hope you enjoy and if you have questions, let me know. I'll help out as much as I can.

Is there a certain size requirement that posts them so you don't have to scroll across the bottom to see a picture?

Hey thanks for the "how to" post.  I was trying to figure this out and was having a difficult time until I found this post.  My first pic download is under the "Product recall" forum.  I thought it was appropriate for some Monday humor.

I did have to change the size settings though because 600 X 480 was extremely large.

Sorry but, like just about everything else for me, I just couldn't resist the temptation.
