We are looking at some new options for logo wear. These will not be for giveaways as they are pretty pricey. Well not at first anyway but probably down the road. We are looking at a company that will setup embroidery for our logo and it can then be embroidered onto hats, shirts, jackets and whatnot. These items will be offered to our members at our cost. I would like our Members help to figure out which logo to use (we can't use the map logo as that has too many colors and would cost a fortune to have done and I don't believe anyone wants to pay $50 for a hat).

First logo is just the UMO standard logo.

Second logo is similar with just our website on it. (I'm leaning towards at least have our site address on them)

Last is the one we use for stickers. The difference is that it has "Welcome to the Addiction" on top.

I like the hats too!  I really like the "Welcome to the Addiction" slogan, but looks a lil busy when it's the same font as the rest.  Not sure how the addition of another font would look, maybe somethin a lil edgier.  Also, I do think it's important to include the URL, but thinkin it seems to detract from the main logo, again because of the font...maybe something a lil more understated.  All that bein' said, I like the look of the 1st one, but think the 2nd one is the best option of the 3.  Very nice! thumbsup

How about this...Use the first logo and then place the URL on either the side opposite the animals or on the back or the cap.  I do agree with LittIT that the "welcome to the addiction" and the URL on the logo gets too busy, but the URL is necessary.

Those are pretty fixed prices and our cost. I'm gonna work on the logo tonight. It would be nice if we could get a few that would want to commit to order some hats. Being straight up with our members, if we get a $250 order, it saves us the $100 setup fee. This means we won't charge anything but what the hats cost us. He is working on a catalog for us so there may be some jackets and such as well. You can also have it put on clothing you own for a little more, I think like $15 or so. I'll let you know that as I find it out.

Would you consider an embroidered patch that we could sew on to a jacket? I already have a Strikemaster jacket and would be interested in a patch I could put on myself.

Well with the great help from Barb I'm looking at some other options for this to happen. Looks like I can lower the cost on the products by going this right so I will update you folks when I know more.

Just an update on this.  We have hats ordered and will determine color and font when we see them in person, hard to tell how it will show up on the computer screen

As Wade said some hats are on order. I found out a lady at work does embroidery and will save us quite a bit on the work. So we ordered some blank hats. The hats will be available to you for less then originally figured as we have cut the cost of embroidery in half. I have a couple pictures of the design she came up with for us and we will have the web addy on the back of the hat. Thought I would run them by you folks and see what you all think.

Like we said, the colors may vary and it's not all set yet. I like the idea of the boarder being about the same color as the hat so it's blended in but raised.

I like the second one with the Pine trees in the background. I agree that the border should be a little more toned down.

Still kinda hammering out the design folks.

Here is another one.

And I like this one best so far

I asked her to take the second one and make the UMO Red and then make the paw prints and tree Blue to match the lettering. More like my original logo. Might have that one tomorrow.
