This was something I was going to do early next year. Some things happen very quick and I'm going to be opening up the online store very soon. A couple of things I want to ask the UMO members;

First, what type of products would you like to see and would you be interested in buying. We are going to be upgrading our UMO Logo Wear but we are going to start carying fishing supplies and down the road hunting supplies and outdoor gear as well. We are going to be starting with JB Lures and Limit Creek Rods. These are two great product lines and I look forward to a long history of doing business with them. On top of these two companies, what else would you, as a member and customer, like to see?

Second, what would be a good name for this store? My thought was The UMO Pro Store or UMO Pro Shop. Give me some more suggestions or tell me which of the two you like please.

UMO is going to be offering it's own line of tackle very soon as well that will be priced especially for UMO members!!

This is going to move quick, we will have some stocking stuffers up quickly. Savings will be had to Members of UMO!!

Great idea!

I would start off with some ice fishing gear now, then switch over to open water supplies when spring comes. I really guess it would depend on if you are drop shipping everything or keeping things on hand. At any rate this is a sign of growth!!!! wav

Companies aren't big fans of Drop Shipping anymore. This was taken advantage of in the past. So right now it will be kept on hand. I have to build some type of storage in my garage to work this out. We are going to be starting with JB Lures Ice Packages and go from there. Also some winter logo wear. As we grow, our products will grown. We look for big things to come, this is just a first step.

That's great. Can't wait.

I agree with Jethro80 start out with some ice fishing gear since thats the season we're in and expand from there.
Are there any other vendors you can get product from, Northland, Lindy ect?
As far as a name I like shop over store but thats my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions, there like  pottytrain2,,, well you know the saying.

I am just looking at overhead costs and it makes plenty of sense to sell what is needed now vs whats needed later. Let me know if you need a hand building something to store stuff. I do have a wide variety of nail guns and etc that will make the job easier.

Other vendors will be available coming up. As we expand we are looking into different companies and making contacts. This takes a little time. Right now JB Lures has been on the site for a while and has climbed on as one of the first Vendors. I have been dealing with Limit Creek for a while now and, pending approval from the company, will sell their product as well.

UMO Pro Shop has a nice ring to it.

Oh Lord,

I've never caught one this big before.
I'll try not to horse him.
And if I land him I promise to release him
And make a graphite replica...

Thank you for the Rapalas.
Amen.
