Couldn't find an "introductions" page or anything like that so I figured i'd post it in the "Welcome" section!

Anyway, my name's Nick. I live in the St. Cloud, MN area and fish the local Mississippi & Sauk river almost daily. Also make frequent trips to Alexandria/Sauk Centre area for largemouth, bass, and northern!

Received an e-mail about UMO and checked it out! I will def. be stopping by every day or two to post pics, reports, etc. If anybody is interested, I have my own site just for MN fishing and outdoors. Would love to see some UMO guys stoppin by to say hello! I'll make sure I post a link on our forum for you guys. Check us out sometime.. www.mnfishing.org

My name is Ed Jensen and I'm a fishaholic!!!  occasion14 Mainly ice fishing, I live in NE Iowa approx. 45 min from the Minn. and Wis. borders. I'm married with 3 kids all grown and 1 granddaughter. My wife and I love to mushroom hunt, and ice fish. It's nice having a wife that enjoys the sport as much as me especially when she says we need to get a 4 wheeler and new tent by next season. I work road const. so I don't get a lot of open water time, but I do go when I can. I'm looking forward to reading the different posts and adding a few of my own!! Great site here and I'm looking forward to being a member!!  icon_thumright icon_thumleft

Hi , My name is Rui and I live in Bloomington.  I fish mostly on the shores of Minnetonka and when i get a chance, head to the croix with some friends.  I was hooked on fishing since i was 7, and pursued bass in my younger days.  Now I've moved to a more sophisticated fish :)  I haven't had much time lately because of school but i look forward to meeting more members of UMO.

Hi All! The Mississippi is my game, Ford Dam to Bass Camp, althought I have fished most of the lower lakes and pretty much all the larger lakes in Minnesota. It looks like in the near future I will be fishing the St Louis river, Lake Superior, Island Lake, Boulder Lake and Fish lake and more? Both of my children live in Duluth and my future Son in Law (Capt Dustin Carlson) Is a Pro guide in northren Minnesota, Wisconson area. Isn't that sad thumbsup?

Good morning from Lake Winnebago, specifically Stockbridge (the Sturgeon Capital of the World). We own a Fillet Board Company called Fillet King and we market our product line through our web site www.fillet-boards.com and www.filletking.com.  We also do the full show circuit in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the Dakatos where we demonstrate our product to the public.  We know pretty much all there is to know about filleting panfish and run the Master Filleter organiation and hold filleting contests at the sports shows.
We fish mostly the Winnebago system for walleye and pan fish both with a small fishing boat and off our sailboat (where we troll by wind). If you have questions on filleting methods we are the go to gals. People tell us they get a kick off our BLOG so stop by take a look at our sites and maybe order some product from us.

Hey everyone, i just joined up. My name is Adam and im avid walleye fisherman. Most of my fishing is done on the Great Lakes, Huron's Saginaw Bay in particular. I also fish Lake Michigan from mid to late July through September for Salmon. My home ports are Linwood on Saginaw Bay and Ludington on Lake Michigan. Once the salmon fishing is done its time to hunt. Doesnt matter if it crawls, slithers, flys or runs ill be after it.

Thanks for having me and i hope to contribute soon.

Hey everybody, my name is Nathan Gravert.  I live in clinton, Iowa and fish mainly the mississippi river pools 12-14.  I have a champion bass boat and try to fish as many tournaments a year as I can.  Currently I'm pretty low on money so tournaments will be slim, but I proudly represent the companies, Karu Lures, Parasite weights, tailwalker fishing lures and badbassboys.com.  I also travel to MN every year for about a week to ottertail county.  I stay on Dead lake and travel around a bit and fish some lakes close by there.

Im eric,
I currently live in albert lea, I fish mostly in south central mn, some trips north. and in central WI, and in the madison area.    I like to chase esox, and when out of season whatever bites. albert lea has a great walleye fishery and I hope to polish my skills on the elusive eye. I build my own lures and pour my own plastics, eventully id like to build rods but one expensive hobby at a time lol,   I think the admin. needs to add a central wisconsin, and south central mn regonal forums.  occasion14

Hi! My name is Patti (as I'm know on another site) I'm 45 and just bought my first house in Bloomington, MN. I LOVE to fish but haven't gotten to do as much as I've wanted to. I grew up in the air force so until I was 12 we only got to fish when we came back on leave to visit grandma and grandpa. My dad started learning then (he was 42) and he's been my only fishing buddy. My ex was into hunting..he'd fish with his dad but that was pretty much "no females allowed". I'm the closest my dad got to a boy(no sons). I've been instigating our annual "daddy and me" trip to the Northwest SportsShow for about 10 yrs. I've always had to depend on him (or someone else) to go fishing. And of course, dad's aren't always very accepting of trying new things. But now that I have my own boat (May ’08) I'm ready to go. Its actually a family heirloom..the first boat I fished in as a little girl on those trips back to MN. Nothing fancy – but that’s me – pretty simple.  I’ve got a '60 crestliner and '63 johnson...both still in pretty good shape. I’m still learning how to handle it. Looking forward to any events where I can learn and making new fishing buddies...

Hey Patti, welcome to UMO, glad you could make it here. That's a great story you have and glad you made it back to MN. Getting used to a boat takes some time, I'm sure you're doing fine. We'll have to plpan a UMO get together this summer when we have some interest in it. Would be a good time to meet everyone.
