Lake Winnie Froze over on Sunday, December 4. Minimal snow cover makes conditions ideal for making ice!! Two wheelers with portables were out yesterday in the Big Island area about 4 miles out on the ice. This is the first activity that we’ve seen on the lake so far!! High Banks 800-365-2560

Checking ice conditions, crack formed out front, we are monitoring closely. No vehicle traffic yet, trying to let the crack heal. Wheelers only. Will post more as soon as conditions change. Feel free to call for up - to - minute reports!! Pack the ice cleats - slippery conditions with no snow cover!! Transportation provided for our fish house rental guests.
